This place was so great!!! Kayleigh styled my hair and had great recommendations and ideas. Plus they have snacks and coffee :) she knew exactly what to do with my hair and I had a fresh cut and color that looked really beautiful. Can't wait to go back. The price was reasonable too- $130 total.

What a find in Syracuse! Annmarie and I clicked immediately. Her sense of humor and her knowledge of curly hair immediately put me at ease. She saw into my curly haired soul and knew exactly what to do. She gave me the haircut I've secretly always wanted but was never brave enough to ask for. My mom said it's the most attractive haircut I've ever had. I'm a customer for life!

I had a very positive experience with my stylist Rosie! She was very thorough and meticulous. She explained her process and took her time with me. I have long, thick, and multi-textured hair and she did a great job cutting and styling. I booked another appointment to go back!

Element on Water is an incredible salon; I work with AnnMarie for curly hair cutting & styling and I've worked with Ukiah for manicures. The environment is so welcoming, friendly, collaborative, and beautifully styled and the entire staff are so accommodating. I'm always asked if I'd like a drink, and never wait very long for services. HAIR - Ann Marie has gone above and beyond for my hairstyling - I had gone years without a curly cut, and Ann Marie is worth the wait and every cent. To say she does an amazing job is an understatement; every curl gets the attention they need, and I always walk out feeling incredible about my hair. She's very receptive to feedback, always willing to make any changes to the last moment, and tailors her product recommendations and styling to your goals, lifestyle, and daily routines. I've never felt pressured to purchase products from EOW, though I did make the switch eventually and noticed a major difference in curl longevity. Worth noting: Ann Marie is the kindest, bubbliest, friendliest person in the world and makes every visit feel special! NAILS - Ukiah has been incredible for every service I've booked with her - I'm not one to typically get manicures, but wanted to try builder gel ahead of an upcoming wedding. Ukiah was very understanding and explained every step of the process, and when I ultimately decided builder gel wasn't for me - she was so chill about it and more than willing to switch to typical gel. (Also - I've gotten gel manicures before and they've left my nails weak, brittle, and ripply -- Ukiah is so thorough and gentle that my nails still look AMAZING after the gel removal!) Ukiah is friendly and approachable, and her attention to detail is top-notch. She always helps me pick colors and has knocked it out of the park every time! I have gotten 2 haircuts from Rosie and have been very happy with both. She did a big chop for one and a trim for the other. She listens to what I want done, executes it how I like it, and always ask for feedback if I want anything changed at the end. You can tell she takes her time and genuinely enjoys her job. I'd highly recommend her!

I had a very good experience at this hair salon after a friend recommended it to me. The staff were patient and kind, and talked me through what I envisioned for my haircut and color. My blowout also looked amazing and lasted several days!

I've been going for 3 years for a curly cut and color. It has made such a difference in my hair! Growing it out and keeping the curls. Learning how to style my hair and what is healthy for my hair. As it is a cut and color, and I'm there for several hours, it does cost a bit. This is reasonable for the time and care taken.

I get a manicure done here every four weeks and Ukiah does a fabulous job every time! She does a nail art by hand and is amazing at what she does! She takes the vaguest of my ideas and turns it into exactly what I want. She recently did my wedding nails and did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend Ukiah for anybody who is looking for a meal artist who goes above and beyond and is fantastic after our job!
